Defensive driving is a tried and tested method specifically designed to prevent accidents. It ensures that nothing is left to chance and nothing is overlooked.Trainees are taught how to create a ‘ safety cushion’ around their vehicles when driving in traffic and to have enough time and space to think and react to dangers which may pose a threat to their own safety or other road users. Furthermore, how to recognise and deal with road hazards and the mistakes of other road users.
